Welcome
West Dunbartonshire Gymnastics Club (WDGC) supports gymnasts progressing from recreational gymnastics towards higher performance club gymnastics, with a focus on skill development, confidence and positive values.
This page is a summary. Policies, procedures and requirements must be read in full in the official handbook PDF.
Classes and club format
WDGC sessions run Monday to Saturday. Class pathways include:
- Pre-school
- Primary 1 Gymnastics
- General Skills (Levels 1–4)
- Advanced Skills (Levels 5–8)
- Tumble Skills
- Women’s Artistic Floor & Vault Squad (invitation-only)
- Women’s Artistic 4-piece Squad (invitation-only)
Competitive squads are invitation-only based on coach assessment (including attendance, attitude and work ethic).
Fees overview
Fees listed in the handbook are effective from 1 January 2026.
- Membership fee: £40 (annual)
- British Gymnastics affiliation (annual): Preschool £18, Recreational £25, Competitive £60
Monthly class fees (1 child):
- Pre-school / P1 session: £25
- Recreational 1.5h per week (1 class): £40
- Recreational 3h per week (2 classes): £55
- Recreational 4.5h per week (3 classes): £70
- Floor & Vault Squad (4h): £65
- Floor & Vault Squad (5h): £70
- Floor & Vault Squad (6h): £75
- WA 4 Piece Improvers: £90
- WA 4 Piece Advanced: £130
Payments, standing order and discounts
- Payments: BACS • Account 17172060 • Sort Code 80-22-60
- Reference: your child’s name
- Standing order: requested for the 1st or 15th of each month
- Late fee: £10 may apply if payment has not reached the bank by the due date
- Cancellation: 30 days’ notice by email (see handbook for process)
Discounts:
- 15% sibling discount (two or more gymnasts)
- 15% active committee discount
Club uniform and merchandise
All gymnasts must have a club training leotard. Other items are optional unless competing.
- Training leotard: £37
- Competitive leotard: £80–£100
- T-shirt: £10
- Zipped hoodie: £18 child / £22 adult
- Hoodie (no zip): £15 child / £17 adult
Code of conduct and behaviour
The handbook outlines expected behaviours to maintain a safe, welcoming environment for everyone.
- Respect coaches and peers; punctuality; correct kit; no jewellery; positive attitude.
- Zero tolerance for bullying or disruptive behaviour.
- Parents/carers: respectful conduct, prompt collection, and adherence to safeguarding/photography rules.

Privacy and consent
The handbook explains what data WDGC collects, why it is needed, how it is stored, who it may be shared with, retention periods and your rights, plus guidance on photography/publicity consent.
